Chinoiserie is a welcome opener that gets things hoppin’, and MMW’s twist on the tune adds a nice dark-ish layer. I could hear Start/Stop every night, and thoroughly enjoy listening to the band find their feet in this tune over this tour. Coconut Boogaloo > Open Improv > “Dysfunctional Ash Groove” > Drum Outro is probably the keeper from this gig though – WHOAH! Not to knock the 2nd set’s run of ITAHTLMJ > FAITU > Dracula > Fast Clicks > Disrobe > Bass Solo > Chubb Sub, and how Night Marchers gets going with a cool little intro … but yeah, that Boogaloo > “Dysfunctional” groove from Set 1 is incredible.
