THE SHACK STREAM
LISTEN/DOWNLOAD ANOTHER SHOW!
It would be kool if there was a medeski Martin and wood on demand app like the phish one
no; phish.inc is exactly what this should NOT become
Mike, what’s the problem with phish.inc? I’m not overly familiar with the site — actually just found it the other day for the first time, but I thought the interface was pretty slick for the streaming part of the operation, but I have no actual experience using the site (I have all that PHISH already).
Or a way to stream the shows without downloading every single one
While you were posting this thought, I was quietly loading up tunes into the site, but if you’d looked at the menu above you’d have noticed THE SHACK STREAM, which I’ve now “officially” launched as of yesterday:
… check it out! You can stream some select shows online now … I can only house so many tunes (space = $$), but I’ve got a bunch of shows available for your perusal and I’m loading more every day …
Thank you so much for the this site, and your time and energy to make it happen. As a longtime fan and Camp MMW 2008 vet, this is now a go to site for me. Cheers
thank you for making this music so accessible. we’re listening!
I just discovered your awesome website, thank you for the effort!
Please add me to The Shack Project email list. Thanks
Tommy, I see your email is now following the blog so I think you’re all set! You can also follow on Facebook or Twitter if either is more useful to you:
Do you have this??? Can you Seed to ETREE???
Need some help tracking out msmw1998-09-26… Please get in touch! – Terry Watts
oops, that should be “smsw1998-09-26”, ie Scofield, Medeski, Stubblefield, Wood…
Terry, my apologies for the delay! Busy with my theatrical interests lately … I’ll check, but I think I do have this and if so, I’ll let you know in the next day or so!
Just heard about this website and mmwhistory.com. Very cool! Glad to be able to access all these recordings via one website. I look forward to watching thid collection/endeavor grow. Props!
Re. source selection of shows: your curations are most appreciated. I consider myself a very picky listener, readily dispensing with low-quality recordings in favor of the good ones, and your selections never disappoint. Keep up the good work!
any chance of an app? How does this work on a mobile?
Ross, I am WAY late replying to this but let me know if you still want help 🙂
Hey Duggie, you headed to the NYC shows at all?
I’ll be headed to the Wednesday show and would love to buy you a drink for all you do for my MMW addiction.
Let me know!
HA! Would have loved to take you up on that drink offer, man! Hell, would have loved being in the room, but alas … NYC is a pretty far trek for me, and I was touring a play here in my home province of New Brunswick during Jan-Feb, so was too busy to have arranged it … maybe some other time! 😉
Just found this site. Thanks very much!!! Really love the grooves and jams.
Any thought of adding a message board/forum to this site? MMW has very passionate and knowledgeable listeners that after 20 years I still do not see a common place to virtually congregate. Be well and thanks for all the music and energy you put into to articulating what you hear in the music….F
I love this site!!!!
Thank you for this site. I have visited many times over the years. MMW always brings musical joy to my life!
Awesome site! Really loving your work with these shows…..is this site still up and running? do you need any help with it?
Are you looking for effective online marketing that actually gets good results? I apologize for sending you this message on your contact form but actually that was kinda the point. We can send your ad text to websites through their contact pages just like you’re getting this note right now. You can specify targets by keyword or just start bulk blasts to websites in any country you choose. So let’s assume you would like to send an ad to all the mortgage brokers in the US, we’ll grab websites for just those and post your advertisement to them. Providing you’re promoting something that’s relevant to that type of business then you’ll receive an amazing response!
Send a quick note to email@example.com to find out how we do this
Greetings, I was just visiting your site and submitted this message via your “contact us” form. The “contact us” page on your site sends you these messages to your email account which is the reason you’re reading through my message at this moment right? That’s half the battle with any kind of online ad, getting people to actually READ your ad and that’s exactly what I just accomplished with you! If you have an advertisement you would like to promote to millions of websites via their contact forms in the US or anywhere in the world let me know, I can even target specific niches and my costs are very low. Reply here: firstname.lastname@example.org
I just dusted off my 9/7/2001 .shn discs and seeded them here:
Hello, I was just on your website and submitted this message via your contact form. The “contact us” page on your site sends you these messages to your email account which is the reason you’re reading through my message right now right? That’s the most important accomplishment with any kind of online ad, making people actually READ your advertisement and I did that just now with you! If you have something you would like to blast out to lots of websites via their contact forms in the U.S. or anywhere in the world let me know, I can even focus on particular niches and my pricing is very low. Send a message to: email@example.com
Thank you for all of the streams and downloads you have provided over the years. I hope you still read comments here from time to time. Anyway, I’m listening to Tonic right now, thinking back to the few acoustic shows I’ve seen, and had a question regarding one of them. 5/7/04 at the Kimmel Center in Philly was my 1st and still one of my favorite concerts. I’ve never found a recording or a set list for the show but distinctly remember them encoring with Moti Mo. I had been really into that song around that time and never saw it on acoustic show setlists so it was a huge surprise when they played it. Do you know if they ever played it acoustically another time? If so, when and is there a recording? Thanks again!
Do you have 8/9/96 SBD to upload? I’ve been looking for the SBD of 8/9/96 for years now with no luck. It does circulate and many at etree have it. However, most folks there stopped using their lists years ago. Any chance you can help?
